It's getting especially fun for me when I layer the synthesizer with the piano... in this particular recording, I split the synthesizer keyboard into two separate instruments - so it gives the appearance that I'm playing three instruments - when in reality, I'm just playing one. I'd always just done what others said I should do - because they felt blissful doing it, or at the very least, watching me do it..
