The Epidemic of Indecision

Well, that last post was lots of fun. It seems whenever I confront an issue (like I did over here) that people’s feathers get ruffled.

Indecision is another one of those topics, it seems. Lots of people try to defend their indecisive habits. I know I did… and I’ll bet I still do in some areas.

Where does this cancer of indecision stem from??

I urge you to practice making decisions. If you find yourself looking to others to make the decision for you, you will fall back to a level of dependency. If it goes unchecked, it could even escalate to a state of self-induced slavery, where the decisions will be rightfully taken from you.

If you don’t really know what to do, just seize faith. Your own decisions (even if they’re the wrong ones) are better than the ones others impose upon you.

Decisions in Success

A fascinating thing happened within the last two weeks.

Of course, you’ve heard about Infusion by now. If not, check it out here.

Here’s what’s interesting.

I’ve received so many words of praise about it, it’s been overwhelming. In fact, in a webinar last week, I got pretty choked up because of the highlights that were shared about Infusion – and the impact it’s had on some of the people’s lives.

It seems amazing to me to have come from a place (only 9 short months ago) where the purpose and direction of my online business resembled a downward spiral.

Thank you to all who have purchased it. You are helping me reach my goal of teaching people these principles that are the laws that cause anyone to succeed.

Last week, I talked to a business partner of mine. She said, “Wow!! Infusion looks so cool – I can’t wait to get it!”

Then, next phone call (a couple days later), she told me about these amazing shoes she bought that are really comfy. She said they’ll go with her Sunday Best better than her last pair of shoes she had.

I said, “Cool! It truly feels wonderful to clothe oneself with pleasantness and comfort at the same time. I’m so excited for when all your clothes, your house, your business, and your library (which is one of her biggest dreams on her goal board) provide the same fulfillment for you. When are you getting Infusion?”

Her response was, “I can’t get it yet – not enough money. I have to wait until next paycheck.”

I can’t judge her. I did the same thing in the immature stages of my jobs, my family, my social life, my life, my business… oh, how the list goes on.

Devastatingly, the immature state of, “I can’t spend money on that right now” is never replaced until a certain decision is made.

I don’t really care what someone decides. In fact, to decide not to do something that will bring you to a higher standard of wisdom actually brings you closer to the higher standard of wisdom than having indecision.

(To clarify – indecision isn’t just the inability to come to a decision, but more so the inability to stick to a decision.)

Chances are, if you’re failing at something, you haven’t decided upon something regarding it. Maybe not, but if you’ve ever said something like what my business partner did, you ought to be ashamed. Your longing for a change in your circumstances will be ongoing and increasingly perpetuate itself until your life is saturated with despair, regret, and eventually, self-destructive guilt.

Don’t not decide on any one thing ever again.

Decide not to do it.

Or decide to do it.

But through it all, Seize Faith. Deciding not to do something with faith, is better than not deciding to do something…. in fact.. indecision is the best way you can announce to the world around you that you have ZERO Faith.

Side note: if you’re looking to build your faith, you’ve seen the page where I have Infusion for sale, and you haven’t bought it yet, you’re living a life of chaotic incongruence.

Please – just stabilize your life at the very least by deciding NOT to buy Infusion. EVER.

That in itself is going to bring you closer to where you want to be.

Or buy it.

Then you’ll be WAY closer to where you want to be.

Either way, Carpe Fidem.

My Proverbs 31 Wife

Today is my wife’s birthday. I know she’d greatly appreciate birthday wishes – and you can meet her on facebook, over HERE.

If you don’t know her, allow me to describe her with the best detail I can.

Her worth is far above jewels.

(of course… I’m supposed to say that, right?) – but it’s for real. See, when you’re facing most obstacles like not knowing anything about websites, or copywriting… or if you’d love to learn the piano, but have no teacher, you can get around those obstacles with money.

Sometimes, there are obstacles that you can’t get past with any amount of money. This has allowed me to conquer some of the greatest obstacles anyone could face. We are a team. Our teamwork has made the dream work.

My heart trusts in her and I will have no lack of gain.

Our lives are one. I can say what she’s going to say before she says it. We think the same things. We’re on the same page. Because of all this, together, we are growing every single day in every single way. Our increase spills over to others, and we live in constant abundance.

She does me good and not evil all the days of her life.

They say love is blind. I used to think that was for the infatuated. Maybe that’s what I am – infatuated for Lorrina. She’s never held me back or discouraged me from anything! (and I’ve pulled some real dooseys!)

She works in delight.

I’ve never known anyone to work so cheerfully and diligently. We could have diaper disasters, or poker chips in the heat registers, and me coming out of the office late from a webinar… it doesn’t matter. She’s joyous and energetic and can’t wait to get started on a dinner crafted with the greatest love and care. (food blessed like that is most nutritious.)

She rises also while it is still night and gives food to her household.

I’m talking about food a lot now, aren’t I? Perhaps, but the food here is a metaphor for the sustenance we receive from all her getting up early, researching alternative health choices or remedies for when we’re sick, packing us up to go camping (like last weekend), and her excitement to take us on adventures near and far!

She considers investments carefully, and buys wisely – and profits.

I’ve never known her to err in spending money on anything! We’ve made mistakes, sure! But it’s because she’s shown her dedication to support me and my maniacal ideas.. By the Infinite’s design… her wisdom led me on my journey as an entrepreneur. Her investment in ME has even profited. Thank you, hunny!

She girds herself with strength and makes her arms strong.

I try to help her whenever I can, but sometimes I’ve come home from a business trip or something, and there’s an entire living room re-arranged. She’s already got an athletic build to begin with, so every day, I am more and more behaved!

She extends her hand to the poor…

There is a law in prosperity – they call it the law of reciprocity. Don’t EVER discount it. Even when we were very poor, Lorrina (against my lack-driven wishes) would show generosity to the needy. That’s why we’re better off today.

Strength and Dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future.

You’re always supposed to take time to dream. I’ve been well known to apply myself so diligently toward a goal, that I forget to take moments to dream… to reflect on what the future will be like… to envision what is coming. She’s so grounded that it balances me out… and I sit with her in front of the computer while the kids are in bed… and we’ll surf the ‘net for all manners of things – outdoor kitchens… sports cars… our Tuscan Villa. And yes, she’s always smiling.

Her children rise up and bless her;

It’s so cool when you’re visiting others, or out in the mall, and the kids say to friends and strangers alike: “My mom is taking me swimming!” “My mommy got me this t-shirt!” “My mommy loves us sooo much!”

Even I praise her.

There have been many great women in the past – who have been influential leaders, fantastic wives, and outstanding mothers. Lorrina excels them all. Everything she does is lauded and magnified by everyone she knows.

With every fiber of my being, I am so joyful and grateful to God for bringing us together.

I love you, Lorrina. Thank you for Seizing Faith in what we’ve become today. I’m so excited to see where this journey takes us next!

Happy Birthday!
