Vision vs Goals vs Action

I had such a huge response from over 30 people from my last post. I felt it necessary to expound on some of the details. To Practice Holding Your Vision,
I have to address very viable concerns.

What if I’ve picked the wrong goal for me? What if it’s too far beyond my reach? How do I know if I’ve persisted to the point of losing my marbles? Am I actually going down the wrong path?

Sadly, I can’t answer those. Today, I just share my experience. I hope it is able to clear some of these questions up.

To sum up – if you try to change your action steps into goals, you’re going to live a frustrating life… especially if the action steps are the wrong ones… if you try to stuff them into your vision – you’ll just live a life of pale existence… attaching your identity to the daily things you do. You might as well go work down at my old tire shop and help out Donny whose vision is to fix and change tires his whole life.

As long as your vision and goals are bigger than action steps, you will always find the steps you need. This is why I created my blog. I want people to converge faith with their actions. Their persistence will be measured by the intensity of their visions, their goals. Faith makes them more intense.

That’s why I’ll always finish my posts as such,

Practice Holding your Vision

I’ve talked about the hardest work we will ever do, and I think it’s time I touched base on it again.

I don’t think this is talked about enough, because most people out there are intending to succeed, but they aren’t. Most people want to win for themselves and their families, but they aren’t.

Maybe you know someone like that. They are at wit’s (and money’s) end. They’ve set goals, they’ve put up vision boards, they’re showing up early and leaving late (figuratively). They’re doing everything that is necessary to succeed, and they continue to struggle. Many would call it failure.

It’s quite possible they feel like the fly hitting the window. Doing everything they can to get out… flying, hoping to find the ‘weak spot’ in the window…

Maybe you know the person I’m talking about intimately.

Let me be the one to encourage you. You’re not doing the wrong things. You just need to do them in a certain way.

Seize Faith. It may take some time. It will require practice. Eventually, you’ll hear it.

snap, snap, snap

You got to where you are because of repetition. Use the same technique to get to where you want to be.

And always -
